About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our SIT Community Engagement team as a Makerspace and Gallery Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) among Punggol's youth.

This includes managing SIT's youth Makerspace and Gallery to inspire interest in STEM education. You will collaborate with schools, educators, community organizations, and industry partners to create engaging STEM outreach programs.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to promote STEM interest among youth
  • Manage SIT's youth Makerspace and Gallery to inspire interest in STEM education
  • Collaborate with schools, educators, community organizations, and industry partners to create engaging STEM outreach programs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a recognized degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in partnership development, business development, and account management or a similar role.

You should be an experienced partnership builder with a proven track record of working with schools, community organizations, corporate partners, and community leaders. Experience in managing makerspaces, museum galleries, technology showcases, exhibitions, and public campaigns would be an advantage.
