About the Role
  • Develop and implement network solutions tailored to the needs of electronic trading environments, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
  • Monitor network performance continuously and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Design, configure, and manage load balancers to ensure efficient distribution of network traffic.
  • Possess deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering, such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with team members to identify comprehensive service level indicators and stakeholders to establish reasonable service level objectives and error budgets with customers.
  2. Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains and proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecks in your areas of expertise.
  3. Act as the main point of contact during major incidents for your application and demonstrates the skills to identify and solve issues quickly to avoid financial losses.
  4. Document and share knowledge within your organization via internal forums and communities of practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 8+ years applied experience.
  • Possess deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering, such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
