Enterprise Applications Director

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Director to lead our organization's digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation and measurable business value.

This role will oversee program governance, manage global rollouts, and align ERP initiatives with corporate objectives while leading cross-functional teams through complex change. As this is a high-impact global role, extensive international travel is required, along with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and ERP program delivery experience.

This role will lead our organization's ERP strategy design and execution, ensuring it effectively supports business processes and objectives. The role involves the execution of strategic planning, leading implementation initiatives, global rollout and continuous improvement of ERP solutions to optimize data integrity, operational efficiency and business outcome delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performance team of project management professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Business Engagement: Develop productive relationships with business leaders across our organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value. Conduct regular surveys of stakeholders' satisfaction with applications, publish the results and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of our enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements. Evaluate and prioritize objects based on strategic alignment, return on investment and risk.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Work with our internal governance team to ensure enterprise applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with applications and database systems.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, accounting, business administration or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.

Minimum of 15 years' experience in IT, with at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications. Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing large-scale IT projects as project manager or key member of the PMO. Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse and other business-critical applications. Demonstrated success in project, vendor and stakeholder management. PMP certification is a must.
