This is a highly skilled role that requires the ability to draft, review and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all business operations comply with relevant laws and industry regulations.
- Provide expert legal advice on project-related risks, employment issues and intellectual property rights.
- Manage legal disputes and collaborate with external counsel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and corporate records.
- Advise on data protection, copyright and licensing matters relevant to design and branding.
- Conduct thorough legal research and monitor changes in laws affecting the interior design industry.
- Deliver internal training or briefings on legal best practices and compliance topics.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Extensive knowledge of commercial litigation and legal research
- Intellectual property rights and administration
- Legal advice and international trade
