Bakery Service Associate Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Bakery Service Associate to support the smooth operation of our bakery services.

The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle orders, and maintain a clean working environment.

We're looking for a friendly and organized team member who can work well under pressure and multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service skills
  • Maintain accurate records of daily inventory and sales
  • Communicate effectively in English with the ability to speak a second language a plus
  • Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently
  • Record orders, answer phone calls, and perform other administrative tasks
  • Hold relevant certifications such as WSQ Level 1 Food Safety Handling Certificate

Duties Include:

  • Welcoming customers and responding to their inquiries
  • Taking customer orders and communicating them to the kitchen if necessary
  • Packing customer orders
  • Answering customer questions
  • Keying in orders in the POS system
  • Collecting payment from customers and performing other cashiering duties when necessary
  • Checking inventory and raising inventory orders when needed
  • Keeping service areas and shop floor clean and organized
  • Supporting back-of-house operations when required
  • Performing any other duties as required

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time (5 days a week)
  • Part-time (3-4 days a week)
  • At least one weekend day required
  • Workday starts at 8am
