Job Description:

  As a strategic sourcing professional, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with business objectives and ensure long-term sustainability.

  You will play a critical role in supporting project execution by fostering strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating competitive contracts, analyzing market conditions, and evaluating supplier performance to meet organizational needs effectively.

  Key Responsibilities include building a strong understanding of the category, strategic business direction, and requirements while setting clear priorities. You will stay updated on market trends and share relevant insights across the organization.

  Additionally, you will utilize advanced analytics, tools, and methods to develop and continuously refine the category's commercial strategy. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to create a roadmap for future business requirements and technological advancements.

  Engaging with technical, legal, tax, risk, and security experts will shape and strengthen the category strategy. You will establish trust and build long-lasting relationships with internal stakeholders to drive strategy development and implementation.

  Furthermore, you will develop and negotiate global frame agreements aligned with business plans and objectives. You will assess suppliers' core competencies and competitive positioning to support strategic decisions.

  Driving supplier performance to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness is also a key responsibility. You will lead commercial guidance and ensure effective communication across the organization.

  Identifying and expanding opportunities within the category for future project development is another crucial task. You will act as a strategic advisor, facilitator, and mentor between Hanwha Ocean and suppliers, supporting sourcing strategy development and execution.

  Overseeing key supplier interfaces to enhance Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is also an important aspect of the job. You will evaluate and validate Supplier Qualification Requests (SQRs) for organizational use.

  Collaborating with the Project Procurement Manager during the WIN phase to develop and implement effective Project Procurement Strategies is also a key responsibility.

  Tracking and reporting earned savings percentages per category against estimations is also a requirement of the job. Initiating pre-agreements during the WIN phase to establish a competitive edge within the supplier network is another crucial task.

  Consolidating, sharing, and implementing best practices and lessons learned to promote continuous improvement is also an important aspect of the job. Demonstrating Year-Over-Year (YOY) percentage savings compared to category estimates through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is also a key responsibility.

  Successfully implementing Global Frame Agreements that align with Hanwha Ocean's strategic objectives is the ultimate goal of this position.
