Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Junior Marine Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine automation and instrumentation devices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending vessels at the shipyard or anchorage, carrying out repair, recalibration, and rectification of marine automation and instrumentation devices in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending vessels at the shipyard or anchorage
  • Carrying out repair, recalibration, and rectification of marine automation and instrumentation devices
  • Providing technical support both on-site and remotely

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Certificate, NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • On-board experience for VLCC, LNG vessels, Container ships, and Chemical tankers
  • Work experience required in the marine automation field for 1-3 years (on-job training provided)
  • Able to travel inbound/outbound (anchorage/shipyard/overseas) on assignment when required, during odd hours, including weekends
