Corporate Development Strategist Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Development Strategist to drive our success and shape the future of the carbon market.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that will oversee the development and execution of our corporate strategy, including market assessments, regulatory developments, competitive analysis, and business model evaluation.

  • This includes developing and executing strategic plans, conducting market research, and providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

The Corporate Development Strategist will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and executing corporate strategy to drive growth and expansion in the carbon market.
  2. Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  3. Providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive commercial outcomes.
  4. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic plans.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, sustainability consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or similar roles.
  • Sharp analytical skills and structured thinking — comfortable working with market data and regulatory frameworks.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working across multi-function teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Self-starter with high intellectual curiosity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, both internally and externally, to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing executive-ready materials.
