Job Title: Grocery Stocker PT

At our grocery department, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time stocker. As a stocker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and appearance of our store's aisles, ensuring that products are properly stocked and easily accessible to our customers.



Job Description
  • Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves according to established standards and productivity guidelines.
  • Maintain a neat and safe work area to allow customers to shop without agitation.
  • Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
  • Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of shelves, and overstock, and proper product handling.
  • Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
  • Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
  • Communicate temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
  • Perform front-end duties as necessary to ensure "no noticeable wait" standard is upheld and maintained.
  • Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs constantly and 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and directions.
  • Knowledge of grocery operations.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate pallet jack for extended periods.
