Job Description

The Electrical Facilities Specialist will design, operate, and maintain some of the most sophisticated electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and HVAC systems in the world. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our facilities, as well as identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment in a data center environment.
  • Prepare and execute operation procedures, respond to work request/service failure, and provide operational and technical expertise in required areas.
  • Improve site Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) and Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), operational efficiency, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Provide tracking and trending operational characteristics.
  • Ensure safety rules and regulations associated with operating infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree, trade school certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of Electrical experience (e.g., electrical testing equipment or electrical distribution) in an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Ability to lift/move 23kg (50lb) of equipment as required.
  • Ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
  • Ability to work non standard, on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours.
