  • Regularly inspect the construction site to identify potential hazards and guarantee compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supervise and guide construction workers in formwork assembly and reinforcement of concrete structures.
  • Verify that all timber formwork, structural reinforcement, and jobs meet the required quality standards.
  • Analyze drawings to calculate material requirements and prepare rebar and mesh for installation.
  • Install reinforcing rods, cables, mesh, or rebar in concrete forms using fasteners and hand tools.
  • Operate cranes safely by connecting cables and slings to components and directing crane operators.

Additional responsibilities include preparing for site work, identifying and mitigating safety risks, and collaborating closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in building construction, particularly in formwork construction and reinforcement bar installation.
  • Hold a Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BSCC) certificate, Certificate in Lifting Supervisor, Certificate in Scaffold Supervisor, and relevant BCA-skilled certification.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and write/speak English fluently.
