Job Opportunity:

The role of the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager involves ensuring plant process safety updates and managing safety cases. This professional will lead related items according to regulations.

  • Oversee and manage expenditure for health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Approve purchases of consumables and equipment required for these roles.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements.
  • Support major shutdown activities and risk assessments.
  • Manage legal registers and monitoring compliance.
  • Arrange annual assessments (stacks, IHM, Noise assessments).
  • A arrange health assessments for employees.
  • Lead programs for all process-related modifications.
  • Develop, review and update procedures for related tasks.
  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders on health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Communicate to authorities for licensing regime modifications.
  • Investigate incidents and report non-conformances to authorities.
  • Manage and oversee training in health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Arrange external and internal training related to health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Responsible for staff development and training to ensure optimal competency.
  • Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions with employees.
  • Monitor employee performance.
