Health Services Researcher Role

The role involves evaluating healthcare innovations to inform decision-making and improve outcomes. As a Health Services Researcher, you will design and conduct various implementation and economic evaluations, including cost-effectiveness analysis, process evaluation, and budget impact analysis.

  • Evaluation Design and Implementation: Develop and implement evaluation plans to assess the effectiveness of healthcare interventions.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources to inform evaluation findings.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support project design, enhance service and patient outcomes, and build compelling business cases for healthcare innovations.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Communicate complex evaluation concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge Dissemination: Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Skills and Qualifications: A PhD in Health Economics, Implementation Science, or closely related fields; 5-10 years of experience in health services research evaluation; demonstrated experience in conducting health services research evaluations of healthcare interventions or programs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in qualitative analysis software packages (e.g., NVivo) and statistical software packages (e.g., Stata, R, or SAS).
