
Data Centre Planner Position

We are seeking a skilled planner to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating and maintaining project schedules under the supervision of senior planners or schedulers.
They will input schedule data into scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
The planner will work closely with project teams to gather schedule information on design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
They will also help monitor project progress and update timelines accordingly.
The planner will support the generation of weekly and monthly schedule reports and look-ahead plans.
They will maintain schedule documentation and ensure activity coding and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) are properly applied.
The planner will track progress of subcontractor activities and coordinate updates to the master schedule.
They will attend internal meetings and take notes for action items and scheduling updates.
The planner will support analysis of schedule delays and assist in the development of recovery plans.
Applicants should have a degree/diploma with at least 1 year of experience in project scheduling/planning support, preferably in a data centre or critical environment.
Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is essential.
Familiarity with construction sequences and project lifecycles is also required.
Certification in workplace safety (e.g. WSQ, WSH) is preferred.
A positive proactive attitude and ethical behaviour are expected.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to work independently and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills are necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is also required.
