We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to work on contructions projects in Singapore that will be focused on data centres and other buildings and facilities.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ability to prepare and own portfolio level programme providing insights and assurance
- Manage the regional scheduling team to drive performance, address issues and monitor outputs
- Robust Stakeholder Management skills and ability to communicate clearly
- Review current processes, capture lessons learnt on projects and recommend improvements to schedule interfaces between local, regional and global stakeholders
- Undertake regular updates to portfolio programme, opine on progress and proactive recommendations to mitigate delivery risks
- Ensure consistency of scheduling and reporting in line with Client’s standards
- Ensure adherence of scheduling team to Client’s processes and governance
- Provide technical support and training to in-country project teams to ensure understanding of processes and governance and to establish expectations
- Provide scheduling support and insights to Client’s programme team
- Provide recommendations to enhance regional and global scheduling processes and templates, including any required localization for specific projects
- Provide schedule insights to support building design configuration option studies
- Provide key support to the Client’s Regional Scheduling lead
- Proactive engagement with the Client’s global scheduling team
- Post covid restrictions it is expected that this role will require extensive regional travel
**Role requirements**:
- Relevant graduate or postgraduate degree in Planning and Scheduling or Project Management
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the capacity of Planner for construction projects with a strong focus on high-tech buildings e.g. data centres, manufacturing facilities, oil & gas plants
- Proven track record as a Lead Planner for construction projects that includes data centre construction projects
- Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong leadership with good written and communication skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
