Job Title: Lead Physician for Inpatient Care

We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to lead our inpatient care services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day operations of inpatient wards, assessing referrals, and performing ward rounds during and outside office hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of inpatient wards and patient care
  • Demonstrate strong clinical diagnostic and management acumen
  • Teach and mentor junior doctors and trainees
  • Assess referrals (including cold and urgent cases) and perform ward rounds during and outside office hours
  • Prepare confidential mortality reports and represent the ward at inquests or medico-legal hearings, where applicable
  • Participate in teaching seminars, clinical-pathological conferences, and audit/research activities
  • Carry out elective and emergency procedures under supervision (for surgical specialties)
Requirements
  • Min. MBBS or equivalent degree, recognized by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Min. 1 year of housemanship and a minimum of three years in medical officer postings
  • Has a recognized postgraduate qualification aligned with basic specialist training
  • Valid registration with the Singapore Medical Council
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead teams, and mentor junior staff

Familiarity with Family Medicine, Hospitals, Assessing, Direct Patient Care, Public Health, Treatment, Surgery, Healthcare, Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Wellbeing, Screening is an asset.
