Cloud Technology Strategist Role

Are you looking for a challenging role in cloud technology? Do you have experience with cloud platforms and want to contribute to shaping the future of cloud capabilities within a business unit?

  • Continuously scan the market for bleeding-edge cloud technologies.
  • Engage and stay up to date with key technology partners on developments in their technology stack.
  • Collaborate with professional services, presales, and managed services teams to assess the applicability of new technologies across the organization.
  • Shortlist and recommend technologies to develop into Proof of Concepts (POCs).
  • Lead POC and R&D projects to completion, evaluating their adoption within business units.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization and its customer base. They will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, GCC).
  • Experience working in the corporate arm of an organization, with the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, managing vendor relationships, and driving change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI, data platforms, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud governance, and innovation management.
