Job Title: Chief Technology Officer

 

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer to spearhead our technology strategy, ensuring seamless integration with business operations and growth. This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, and system reliability while driving continuous improvement in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Strategy Development: Develop and implement GasCo's technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.
  • IT Governance and Risk Management: Oversee IT budget planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation to meet operational and strategic needs.

Infrastructure and Cybersecurity:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure, encompassing networks, servers, cloud environments, data lake architecture, and end-user systems.
  • Develop and oversee cybersecurity strategies, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and implementation of security best practices to protect company data and systems.

Applications and Business Solutions:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications such as SAP BI, ETRM, and downstream gas nomination and scheduling systems, as well as operational support systems.
  • Collaborate with business functions to identify technology solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Ensure effective change management and training for new systems or applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT strategy development, cybersecurity management, and enterprise application implementation across trading or banking organizations.
  • Proven track record in deploying cloud infrastructure and data lake solutions, familiarity with AI/ML development is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of IT risk management, governance, and compliance framework.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's CII regulations and CSA standards.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Minimally 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership role overseeing infrastructure and applications teams.
