Job Title: Syndication Loan Agency Expert - Digital Transformation
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Syndication Loan Agency Expert - Digital Transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the syndication loan agency and security agency services, reviewing and providing comments on draft finance documents, and processing and supervising day-to-day loan administration tasks.

Responsibilities
- Syndication Loan Agency
- Support syndication loan agency and security agency services to all segments that the bank is appointed as Facility Agent, Security Agent &/or Account Bank.
- Review and provide comments on draft finance documents.
- Process and supervise day-to-day loan administration tasks, including drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, prepayment, fee calculation, payment, and document safe-keeping arrangement.
- Liaise with legal counsels, finance parties, and borrowers for deal closing and conditions precedent and subsequent.
- Evaluate and ensure that all terms and conditions precedent of facility agreements are met before execution of any requests from borrowers.
- Ensure that all required covenants are provided, such as insurance, throughout the life of the syndicated loan.
- Manage amendment or waivers requests by borrowers as needed.
- File relevant MAS returns within the specified time frame.
- Support the team lead in delivering KPIs set by senior management.
- Coordinate and participate in various enhancement projects in the department, such as system enhancements or ad-hoc projects.
- Lead and support projects as required.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to staff as needed, including new business products and development.
- Document and maintain up-to-date workflow processes and SOPs.
- Partner with Change The Bank and Technology teams to deliver projects in the bank's digitalization journey.
- Manage system problems and rectify impacted accounts.
- Support system enhancements and submit user requirements for improvements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project financing, with knowledge of syndication loan administration and operations.
- An understanding of market practices in syndication loan administration and operations, particularly in syndication agency roles.
- In-depth knowledge of finance documents and ability to interpret legal documents.
- The ability to communicate professionally and accurately with internal and external parties.
- Familiarity with credit evaluation processes, loan accounting, and policies.
- Knowledge of default loan management skills and processes.
