Quality Assurance Leader Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Leader to join our team.

Job Description

This is a leadership role that oversees the performance and results of Quality Control and Assurance, as well as Health, Safety & Environment functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a quality team to ensure a productive and high-performance work environment. They will also develop, implement, monitor, and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, they will drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a quality team to ensure a productive and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and/or improve Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation and procedures to comply with statutory requirements.
  • Drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements.
  • Skip over non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management.
