Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in backend development, with experience in languages such as Python and C#. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs for our cloud-based remote monitoring platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs for the cloud-based remote monitoring platform.
  • Work with Microsoft .NET, Python, and related frameworks for backend development.
  • Design and manage relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
  • Contribute to frontend features using React.js where required (training and mentoring provided).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability.
  • Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud or on-prem environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework: Microsoft .NET (C#) or Python.
  • Understanding of database design and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration practices.
  • Exposure to React.js or willingness to learn frontend frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Interest in IoT/remote monitoring platforms.
