Job Overview

The Piping Engineer is a key member of the project team responsible for ensuring the successful installation and operation of piping systems in a modular facility delivery project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for pipe construction, including timelines, resources, and quality control measures.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with designers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with Singaporean pipe construction codes.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage material procurement, track inventory levels, and resolve issues with unordered materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site quality checks to ensure piping meets requirements, construct according to drawings, and prepare necessary documents.
  • Emergency Response: Handle emergencies promptly and effectively communicate with teams to prevent rework.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in pipe construction site management, with at least 3 years in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD and Microsoft software.
