Job Title: Pipe Installation and Maintenance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of piping systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Finalizing the assembly and adjustment of process, utility, and interconnecting piping systems;
  • Installing pipe supports and hangers to ensure stability and safety;
  • Installing manual and instrument valves to control fluid flow;
  • Conducting hydrostatic/pneumatic leak tests and line flushing to detect and eliminate any potential leaks;
  • Performing system tie-ins and integration in line with pre-commissioning requirements;
  • Assisting in preparing work plans to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Delegating tasks to supervisors and planning manpower requirements in accordance with budgeted man-hours;
  • Resolving problems encountered and coordinating between different trades to minimize downtime;
  • Raising or approving issue passes for materials and equipment required for jobs accordingly;
  • Maintaining the quality and workmanship of subcontractor work to meet company standards;
  • Ensuring that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree from a recognized tertiary institute;
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience;
  • A positive and willing-to-learn attitude;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

We operate Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 5:15pm and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
