We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to oversee the After School Care program. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and conducive environment for students, ensuring their supervision and safety at all times. This includes monitoring activities, maintaining discipline, and addressing any concerns that may arise.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.

  • Foster positive relationships with students and provide emotional support to ensure their well-being.
  • Coordinate and implement after-school programs, including enrichment activities, study sessions, and recreational opportunities that cater to diverse student interests.
  • Maintain close collaboration with teachers to address behavioral concerns and support students' holistic development.
  • Manage attendance records, track student progress, and gather feedback when necessary.
  • Establish effective communication with parents regarding student attendance and performance.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 3 years of direct experience in After School engagement Services, preferably in a school environment. Preference will be given to candidates with first aid qualifications. Additionally, the selected personnel is required to attend and successfully complete first-aid training provided by the school if they do not have the relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and conducive learning environment for students.
  • Oversee the implementation of after-school programs, ensuring diversity and inclusivity.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and teachers to support students' development.
  • Monitor student attendance and behavior, gathering feedback when necessary.
Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • At least 3 years of direct experience in After School engagement Services, preferably in a school environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First aid qualifications.
  • Experience in program coordination and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

This role requires working Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm, during school terms. The selected personnel will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the students and the program.
