Fleet Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the technical operations of a fleet of tankers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, survey schedules, and docking operations.
  • Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
  • Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.
Requirements:
  • Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer and at least 2 years of shore experience as a Technical Superintendent or Fleet Manager.
  • MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
  • Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Williness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
