Software Development Manager Position

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading a team of developers and overseeing the development of scalable web applications.

We are seeking an experienced software development manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in leading teams and managing projects.

  • Lead a team of developers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality user experiences.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable web applications, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Oversee frontend architecture, code quality, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement and optimize state management (Redux/Context API) in complex applications.
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure unit testing, and enforce coding standards across the team.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Plan project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of software development experience, including strong expertise in software development methodologies.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or project management within software development projects.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with Redux, Web Workers, and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with TDD and testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or PACT.
  • Exposure to React Native or mobile development is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
