Project Manager for Shipbuilding Operations

Join us to take on a challenging role as Project Manager for shipbuilding operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop your skills in project management.

  • Develop and implement project plans, manage resources, and oversee day-to-day construction activities to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of the project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and track project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Review and analyze project performance data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Key Skills:
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or PRINCE2)
  • Experience in shipbuilding or heavy industries
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
