Electrical Engineer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a skilled Electrical Engineer in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for delivering electrical engineering projects from initial concept definition phase through to commissioning.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and knowledge of industry standards, including environmental and safety policies. They will also possess strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities of multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for someone who has a Bachelor Degree In Electrical Engineering and Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years post graduate experience is required, with at least 6 years related to the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical engineering activities including site surveys, FEED, detailed design and commissioning
  • Ensure technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed in work-scopes
  • Support the Engineering Department to review, update and apply company standards and amendments to external standards
  • Plan and coordinate activities of a multidiscipline team to provide timely delivery of technical services
  • Coordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary workscopes for projects
  • Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance
  • Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities
  • Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree In Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to Oil and Gas industry
  • Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and Coded related to Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
