The role of an Electrical Engineer is a critical one within our team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to take on the planning and design of electrical works for building services projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Electrical Engineers will be responsible for designing electrical services, including substations, small power, lighting, security systems, data cabling, public address systems, etc.
  • They must present design concept reports to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Engineers will also prepare M&E cost estimates based on approved design schemes.
  • Another key responsibility is preparing technical specifications and tender documentation.
  • Coordination of M&E services within the office is crucial for the success of the project.
  • Reviewing shop drawings, material submissions, and handling RFIs is another important task.
  • Verification of work progress and variation orders for progress claims is necessary to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Liaising with main contractors, architects, and authorities to ensure technical compliance and timely completion is essential.
  • Site investigation surveys and submitting technical reports are also part of the job requirements.
Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • At least 3 years' hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm for degree holders is preferred.
  • Candidates with professional engineer registration may be considered for senior positions.
  • Experience in handling full cycles of building service projects and proven track records with strong backgrounds in electrical design are essential.
  • A good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission processes is necessary.
  • Confident and strong presentation and communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team setting is crucial.
