As a senior finance coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of finance for Singapore entities.

  • Review and approve journal vouchers, balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliation, and GST submissions.
  • Manage, supervise, and coach accountants to ensure they execute their roles and functions effectively.
  • Update materials circulated to stakeholders for quarterly performance reviews.

Liaise with China entities regarding e-payment arrangements and related matters.

Coordinate with the Sales Team and legal advisors on credit control matters.

Attend fortnightly credit control meetings and provide recommendations/actions for overdue limits and terms.

Conduct daily credit control monitoring and recommend actions for overdue accounts.

Review new and annual credit applications based on financial analysis and market information.

Liaise with internal auditors to establish, review, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Maintain CDP shareholding tracking reports.

Review and analyze management reports to provide insights for timely decision-making.

Review tax computations and related matters.

Assist in preparing budgetary costing and ROI analyses for new projects.

Streamline reporting requirements across entities and standardize report formats.

Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and tax agents on corporate and tax matters.

Participate in ERP system implementation and enhancements.

Manage administrative tasks such as E-Bacs, Corporate Pass, credit searches, and other governmental access permissions.

Handle ad-hoc matters assigned by the Finance Manager or GFC, including feasibility studies.

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or ACCA is required. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is also necessary.

The following key performance indicators (KPIs) are expected:

Financial KPI: Assist accountants in maintaining a maximum 5 working days for financial closing.

Non-Financial KPIs:

  • Timely monthly reporting;
  • Streamlining and reducing the number of reports maintained by each accountant;
  • Ensuring financial reports adhere to latest standards and group policies.

This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.
