Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Procurement Specialist
">This role is responsible for overseeing the procurement and inventory management of cardiovascular drugs in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Dispensing medication to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Managing the central inventory of cardiovascular drugs, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Coordinating inter-clinic transfers of medications and managing requests from other clinic locations.
- Maintaining a list of key pharmaceutical contacts and reviewing the bonus tier scheme.
- Providing regular updates to directors on medication purchases and monthly reporting on stock movement and purchases.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to oversee drug stock takes and discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Dispensary Technician Certificate.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy procurement and inventory management.
- Prior experience in negotiation and inventory management of drugs.
