Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for maritime operations and expertise in LPG/LNG vessels? We are seeking an exceptional Vessel Operator to play a pivotal role in managing a modern fleet of gas carriers.

Take ownership of daily vessel operations, collaborate with global stakeholders, and ensure smooth, efficient commercial shipping activities. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in gas vessel operations and a proven track record of success in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor vessel locations and maintain detailed cargo and trade information.
  • Take charge of voyage coordination from initial planning through execution, including handling claims and demurrage post-fixture.
  • Manage billing processes for charter hire, bunker fuel, and other operational expenses.
  • Serve as the key contact for assigned vessels, ensuring smooth communication with both internal departments and external partners.
  • Approve and oversee disbursement accounts and arrange port agent services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of essential documents such as notices and letters of indemnity.
  • Oversee daily vessel operations to ensure compliance with charter-party agreements.
  • Participate actively in emergency response activities and assist with general office operations as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is essential, with added experience in vessel management software considered a bonus. Comprehensive understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures is also crucial. Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, skilled at building and nurturing relationships with clients and stakeholders, are necessary.

Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in gas vessel operations or the commercial shipping industry is required. Detail-oriented individuals with strong multitasking capabilities to manage diverse priorities efficiently are highly valued. In-depth knowledge of the commercial shipping sector, particularly gas carriers, is essential.
