The main responsibilities of this role include planning, designing and overseeing the construction management of high-voltage power distribution systems and electrical building services for airport development projects.
This position involves working closely with our in-house design team to assist in the design of the airport's Airfield Lighting System (AFL) and Airfield Ground Lighting and Control and Monitoring System (AGLCMS).
You will work collaboratively with the production team to develop and prepare the necessary design drawings and documentation required for tender calls related to Capex/Opex projects concerning AFL/ALCMS.
Knowledge of the subject matter is not essential, as training will be provided for the successful candidate. However, prior knowledge of airport AFL/ALCMS would be advantageous.
This role requires close collaboration with the in-house design team and other consultants to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resilience, efficiency, and maintainability of the system.
As part of our consultancy services, you will provide advisory support towards the procurement of spare parts and services related to AFL maintenance.
Additionally, you will support the airfield design and master planning team in studying system capacity and implementing future airfield projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning, designing, and managing high-voltage power distribution systems and electrical building services
- Assisting in the design of the airport's Airfield Lighting System (AFL) and Airfield Ground Lighting and Control and Monitoring System (AGLCMS)
- Developing and preparing design drawings and documentation for tender calls
- Providing advisory support on spare parts and services procurement
- Supporting the airfield design and master planning team in studying system capacity and implementing future airfield projects
Good degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in planning, design, implementation, and project management of high-voltage electrical power distribution systems and building services for large-scale infrastructure or commercial development.
Experience in planning, design, and implementation of high-voltage electrical substations and distribution systems.
Good knowledge of design codes and standards for M&E systems.
Self-motivated, driven, assertive, and analytical individual.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to understand and develop technical drawings, specs, and requirements.
Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills.
Good team player able to handle fast-paced projects.
