Virtual Account Management Specialist

At TapTalent, we are seeking a highly skilled VAM Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our corporate transaction banking team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing virtual account management solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing strategic guidance on solutions.
- Lead the design and development of virtual account and liquidity management solutions, considering industry best practices and regulatory considerations.
- Manage end-to-end delivery, including scoping, planning, execution, and stakeholder management, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the corporate transaction banking space, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transaction banking initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to SMBC's internal policies and procedures.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and enhance overall team performance.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, and presentations.
- Good knowledge and understanding of payments, virtual account management, and liquidity management.
- Experience in working with such systems across geographies, particularly APAC.
- Knowledge of virtual account management, including understanding of virtual account structures and their applications in banking.
- Ability to design and configure virtual account solutions to meet business requirements.
- Experience in setting up and managing virtual accounts to optimize cash flows and streamline reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with technology platforms and software used for virtual account management.
- Knowledge of virtual account reconciliation processes and tools.
- Proficiency in liquidity forecasting techniques and cash flow analysis.
- Understanding of liquidity management principles and techniques.
- Ability to develop and implement liquidity management strategies to ensure sufficient cash availability for operational needs while maximizing returns on excess cash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience in working with virtual account management and liquidity management systems.
