Job Title

A Senior Network Professional is needed to develop, implement and maintain the company's network infrastructure.

  • We are looking for a skilled Senior Network and Infrastructure Professional with a strong technical background in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing, Implementing and Maintaining Network Infrastructure: This includes LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN.
  2. Administering Server Infrastructure: This includes AWS, DNS, Active Directory, DHCP and domain controllers.
  3. Maintaining Network and System Performance: Monitoring network and system performance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring uptime meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  4. Implementing and Maintaining Network and System Security Measures: This includes firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and secure access policies.
  5. Managing Vendor Relationships and Project Execution: Working with vendors to manage project execution and ensure successful outcomes.
  6. Collaborating with Global IT Team: Collaborating with the global IT team on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  7. Handling Incidents and Change Requests: Handling incidents, change requests and service requests in line with ITIL or company processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  1. Strong Knowledge of Networking Technologies: You should have a strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching protocols.
  2. Experience with Server Administration: Experience with server administration, including Windows Server, AD, AWS.
  3. Familiarity with Firewall Management: Familiarity with firewall management, including Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Barracuda WSG.
  4. Understanding of Security Best Practices: Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
