About the Role">
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deploying microservices, managing cloud environments, and ensuring seamless delivery of applications.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
  2. Support applications by troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and ensuring smooth operation.
  3. Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  4. Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure), including scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  5. Work with containerization (Docker) and assist in orchestration (Kubernetes).
  6. Collaborate with development and platform teams to ensure smooth integrations and deployments.
  7. Raise and manage service requests (SR), change requests (CR), and coordinate with cloud/infra teams.
  8. Provide instructions and support to other application teams when needed.
  9. Participate in client projects as requested.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and DevOps.
  • Strong programming background in Python and Node.js.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Proven knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and architecture patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Experience with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/SDLC environments.
Nice-to-Have (Good to Have)
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Engineer or equivalent cloud certifications.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (SR/CR management).
