Job Title: Associate Engineer, Data Centre

Are you a data centre enthusiast looking for a challenging role? We're seeking an experienced Associate Engineer to join our team

As an Associate Engineer in our Data Centre Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres. Your primary focus will be on centralized network operations management, where you will be tasked with monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to our data centre infrastructure.

  • Ensure incidents are responded to and attended to, or escalated for 2nd/3rd level resolution based on criticality, impact, and SLA.
  • Fulfil customer requests and manage system performance between all DCs.
  • Benchmark system performance and present findings to management.

To ensure accuracy, you will also be responsible for monitoring IoT sensors and escalating any issues to our technical specialists' team. Additionally, you will perform troubleshooting of network connections relating to BMS/EMS/PQMS that affect data collection.

Data Centre Facilities Management

In this role, you will also be responsible for performing event monitoring for all data centre facilities infrastructure to ensure normal function. This includes monitoring systems such as UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.

  • Ensure all DC supporting infrastructure (i.e., BMS, EMS, Access Control Systems, Electronic Visitation Management System, etc) are functioning well.
  • Update and maintain all DC related documentation, including reports generation where needed.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to fix technical issues and provide timely support to customers.
Requirements

We are seeking individuals with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering / IT with at least 2 years of experience in DC Operations.
  • Good knowledge in Data Centre Facilities and Operations Support as well as Data Centre Operations Best Practice.
  • Possess Basic Certificate of Infocomm Technology and ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
