
Early Childhood Development Lead

The KidSTART programme is designed to provide upstream support to vulnerable children in areas of early childhood development, health, and social support. As a lead practitioner, you will be responsible for supervising and training a team of practitioners, engaging with children and their families, and collaborating with community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of practitioners to build competencies, ensure programme fidelity, and enhance work processes for effective delivery.
- Motivate and lead a diverse team to deliver the KidSTART curriculum and achieve satisfactory outcomes for families and their children.
- Establish and maintain high standards of service delivery.
- Identify training needs and conduct regular supervision sessions to enhance effectiveness.
- Engage with key stakeholders and partners to tap on resources and expertise.
- Ensure programme output and outcome indicators are met through regular audits.
- Monitor service delivery and consistency in administrative processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop seamless support processes for families.
- Take on a limited caseload to maintain skills and gain insights on challenges faced by supervisees.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or equivalent field.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in early childhood development or social services.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience with a good track record.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Promoting professional development of staff.
- Passionate about working with low-income families and their children.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reflective supervision skills and motivation to enhance personal effectiveness.
- Familiarity with fast-paced organisations and willingness to adapt.
