As a key player in shaping digital landscapes, this exciting opportunity seeks to appoint an exceptional Digital Governance and Vendor Management Professional. This high-profile role demands strategic oversight of professional teams and departmental operations, integrating specialized knowledge and industry expertise within a defined scope.
Digital Governance and Vendor Management LeadThis pioneering position will play a vital role in the development of our digital governance framework, requiring close collaboration with various enterprise functions such as Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Data Security and Fraud teams to review and obtain approval for planned initiatives.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive regulatory mapping exercises to identify applicable requirements across business operations
- Performing regulatory change impact analysis to assess effects of new and evolving regulations on business processes
- Preparing documentation, arranging for evidence collection and managing impact assessments and escalations, meeting deliverables within expected timeframes
- Ensuring adherence to governance processes to guarantee seamless project execution across team functions
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for:
- Assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for reputation and safeguarding assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Executing primary business owner responsibilities encompassing the entire cycle from onboarding to ongoing monitoring and offboarding processes
- Analyzing and reviewing quarterly regulatory monitoring results, identifying gaps and implementing suitable corrective actions
- Serving as a key liaison in managing third party vendor relationships and oversight programs
- Managing key relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring accountability for meeting digital risk requirements
To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need:
- A strong understanding of digital franchise operations and emerging technology risks
- A track record of success in leading critical projects with excellent influencing skills to drive projects forward, gain buy-in and iterate based on feedback
- The ability to create relevant strategy and lead ideation processes with stakeholders through to implementation phases
Requirements include:
- 7-10 years experience in Compliance and Risk Management
- Expertise in regulatory mapping and change impact analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in third party risk assessment and vendor lifecycle management
