Primary School Math Tutor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary School Math Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching math to students aged 7-12.

The tutor will be responsible for:

  • Teaching primary math classes to small groups of students (online and hybrid classes).
  • Developing and delivering engaging math lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  • Providing individualized attention to students who require extra support.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular feedback to parents.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective math curricula.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in teaching math at primary levels.
  • Knowledge of math pedagogy, standards, and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and learning management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
