Job Opportunity: Dance Artiste

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dance artiste to fill this key role.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute outreach programs to promote Chinese culture and dance.
  • Design lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and perform teaching duties according to requirements.
  • Choreograph dance items, train students for performances, and competitions.
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and maintain proficiency.
  • Provide accurate feedback on student progress to schools and parents.
  • Be prepared to cover assigned staff in case of absence.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing other outreach-related tasks such as performances and publicity. They will also work weekends and may experience irregular schedules.

Requirements:

  • A professional diploma or degree in dance from a reputable arts institution.
  • At least two years of teaching experience in Chinese dance.
  • Ability to conduct classes in Mandarin and English when necessary.
  • Good character, career professionalism, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Effective communication and language skills.

Key responsibilities include promoting cultural awareness through dance performances and education programs, developing curricula, and fostering a positive learning environment.
