Ballet Instructor Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled ballet instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching ballet to children aged 3 and above, with a strong focus on fostering a love of dance in our students.

The successful candidate will possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in dance education or a related field, as well as recognized teaching qualifications in at least one style (e.g., RAD, CSTD, ISTD). They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a dynamic and engaging teaching style, and exceptional organizational and planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Deliver Engaging Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students aged 3 and above, promoting a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
  • Cultivate a Love for Dance: Foster a genuine enthusiasm for dance in students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
  • Curriculum Development: Craft and implement curriculum tailored to various ages and skill levels, ensuring progression and engagement.
  • Student Assessment and Progression: Evaluate student progress through ongoing evaluation and maintain detailed records.
  • Preparation for Examinations: Prepare students for dance examinations, ensuring technical accuracy and artistic expression.
  • Fostering Positive Relationships: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, creating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
  • Degree Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Dance Education or related field.
  • Teaching Qualifications: Recognized teaching qualification in at least one offered style (e.g., RAD, CSTD, ISTD).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience teaching dance to children aged 3 and above.
  • Documented Professional Experience: Documented professional dance experience (performance and/or choreography) highly desirable.
  • Success in Preparing Students: Demonstrated success in preparing students for competitions and examinations.
