Project Management Office (PMO) Transformation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Leader to drive significant improvements in our Project Management Office (PMO).

The successful candidate will help modernize the PMO, standardize processes and ensure the successful execution of IT projects across the organization.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define and develop transformation strategies for the PMO that aligns with business objectives.
  • Assess current PMO operations, identify gaps and propose enhancements to drive process improvements, efficiency and scalability.
  • Define and implement governance structures ensuring consistent project oversight, reporting, including metrics, templates and best practices.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during PMO transformation.
  • Develop and implement a risk management framework within the PMO to identify, assess and mitigate risks across the IT project portfolio.


Requirements and Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, IT or related field is required. Certification in Change Management or Project Management is highly desirable.

Proven experience in leading PMO transformation, managing large-scale initiatives or change management roles is essential.

Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, process improvement methodologies and tools is also necessary.

Significant experience with project governance, project or IT portfolio management and program management is required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders is essential.

Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage change effectively in a complex organizational environment is necessary.

Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills are also required.

Flexibility to quickly adapt to new challenges and operate in periods of ambiguity is essential.

Knowledge of IT governance and landscape is preferred.

Experience in the Healthcare IT sector or IT Portfolio Management is an advantage.
