Job Title:

A Chief API Architect is required to design, implement and manage API Gateway solutions using IBM API Connect v10 and IBM DataPower.

Key responsibilities include automating API publishing tasks using CI/CD tools such as GitHub, conducting installation, patching and upgrades of IBM API Connect v10 to ensure optimal performance and security, supporting API Gateway migration projects by applying best practices and industry standards, monitoring and troubleshooting API Gateway performance and reliability across on-premises and cloud environments, particularly AWS EKS, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for API Gateway configurations, processes and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, along with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with API Gateways, specifically IBM API Connect v10. Strong experience with IBM DataPower administration, including installation and patch management, proven track record in CI/CD practices and tools, with a focus on automation in API publishing, experience working with AWS (particularly AWS EKS) and hybrid deployment models, knowledge and experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Kubectl CLI tools, proficiency in Linux OS, and excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
