Software Engineer: API Development

PrivaSapien is a company that specializes in providing privacy-enhancing technologies. We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust and scalable APIs using the Go programming language.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms, proficiency in database integration and data modeling, and experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs using the Go programming language.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Developing API Gateway solutions, optimizing API performance, implementing caching strategies, and addressing security vulnerabilities in API implementations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in the Go programming language.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in database integration and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of Go best practices, design patterns, and idioms.
  • Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
