Job Summary

The renewable energy specialist will play a key role in the success of our projects. This individual will work closely with the project manager to coordinate, plan and forecast resource utilization to meet project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the project manager to optimize resource utilization and meet project milestones.
  • Perform site studies for PV system recommendations.
  • Manage solar project site teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor work progress to ensure projects meet specifications, schedules and budgets.
  • Plan and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to raise sales requests and ensure timely material delivery.
  • Create checklists for review or inspection of solar projects.
  • Assist in investigating and troubleshooting M&E issues during and after project implementation.
  • Assist in site testing and inspection of installations.
  • Assist in designing and drafting electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), solar module layouts and string-connection drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Assist in designing and drafting mechanical drawings of solar PV systems.
  • Prepare project documents for submission to authorities and ensure smooth project completion.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Fresh graduates are welcome with on-job training provided.
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks and other modeling software (such as Sketchup, PVsyst, Helioscope) is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Preferably possesses a Class 3 driving license (manual).
  • Detailed-oriented individual.
