Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at NOVA FURNISHING CENTRE PTE. LTD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and close sales. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets, and upselling complementary products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets to drive sales growth
  • Assist customers in selecting the right furniture products based on their preferences, style, and budget
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of furniture products, including materials, features, benefits, and care instructions
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new product launches, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements
  • Previous experience in furniture sales, retail sales, or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales
  • Comfortable with point-of-sale (POS) systems, order management software, and general computer proficiency
  • Positive attitude, goal-driven, and a passion for home furnishings and design
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, plus commission structure based on sales performance
