Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Enterprise Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the university in strategy formulation and implementation, as well as enterprise risk management.

The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact the university's operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in enterprise risk management or corporate planning.

About This Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk identification and assessment, including horizon scanning, conducting risk perception surveys, and facilitating risk discussions amongst directors.
  • Formulation of risk mitigation plans or workplans and resource budgeting to address business risks and opportunities with stakeholders, as well as tracking the implementation of such plans.
  • Risk monitoring, which includes the formulation and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), as well as evaluating the impact of global and local risk events/developments on the university's risk profile.
  • Risk reporting to high-level management on platforms such as Executive Committee meetings and Audit and Risk Committee meetings.
  • Training to inculcate a culture of risk awareness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in risk management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in enterprise risk management/corporate planning.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Certification in Risk Management (IRM CERM, CRMP, ARIMI CERM etc.) or familiarity with ISO 31000/COSO framework preferred.
