About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Research Officer to join our team at the National Environment Agency's Environmental Health Institute (EHI). As a member of this esteemed organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing and conducting field and laboratory research to assess and mitigate bioaerosol exposure concerns in the built environment.
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development of national environmental public health policies and collaborate with stakeholders to translate scientific findings into policy and operations. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting cutting-edge research on bioaerosols and indoor air quality management.
- Designing and leading lab experiments on bioaerosols, including sampling, laboratory analysis, and data analysis.
- Analyzing complex data sets to inform policy decisions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate research findings effectively.
- Developing and maintaining expertise in systems thinking and trans-disciplinary science.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of bioaerosol and indoor air quality management.
- Experience in designing and leading lab experiments on bioaerosols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Capacity for systems thinking and inclination for trans-disciplinary science.
