High-Performance Data Architect
Join a pioneering electronic trading and quantitative research organization as we seek a skilled Senior KDB+ Engineer.

This is an exceptional opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-performance time-series databases and real-time analytics systems that support trading and quantitative research.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in KDB+ engineering in a trading or financial services environment. Strong proficiency in q programming and time-series data modeling is essential. A deep understanding of market data and trading system architecture is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement KDB+/q solutions for real-time and historical market data processing.
  • Collaborate with trading and quant teams to develop and optimize algorithmic trading systems.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for low-latency trading environments.
  • Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability across trading platforms.
  • Support production systems and troubleshoot complex issues in live trading environments.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a KDB+ engineer in a trading or financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in q programming and time-series data modeling.
  • Deep understanding of market data (e.g., equities, FX, futures) and trading system architecture.
  • Experience with algorithmic trading platforms and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with low-latency systems, networking, and performance tuning.
